Saskatchewan’s potash industry is in the midst of an interesting time. A mere handful of companies run Saskatchewan’s biggest potash mines, and Westwood Electric has provided industrial electrical & instrumentation services to the majority of these companies at one time or another.
The demand for renewable energy in Western Canada received a major boost this year when the governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan announced their new targets for renewable power generation.
When Westwood first began providing industrial electrical services to customers some 40 years ago, websites didn’t exist. Since then, however, websites have become an important way to communicate a company’s strengths and values. After months and months of work, we’re proud to formally announce the launch of Westwood’s new website.
Okanagan College students in the Electrical Trades programs will soon plug into a cutting edge new learning space thanks to a generous donation of $100,000 from Westwood Electric.
Westwood will be undertaking the electrical supply & installation for the construction of a new substation in Merritt, BC. In addition to the substation, Westwood will also be undertaking associated Green Energy Work.
