Unless you’re a school teacher, most of us probably don’t know how many school days there are in a year? If you’re curious, most provinces across Canada have 190 school days with the school year typically starting after Labour Day in September and running to the end of June.
We are pleased to announce that Westwood has been named 2016 Engineering Co-op Employer of the Year by the University of British Columbia (UBC Okanagan). Westwood has hosted 12 electrical engineering students since joining the program in 2015.
In Canada, April 28th has been declared the national “Day of Mourning”, in remembrance of those men and women who died from work related injuries or illness.
