Safety Bulletin: Back to the Grind…
For kids anyway as they head back to school. As summer draws to a close and children head back to school, we need to realize these precious gems are going to be zipping around on their skateboards, bikes, scooters, roller blades and every other kid friendly wheeled contraption known to man; across streets, avenues, and parking lots, often at breakneck speed and often without looking first.
Childhood is a time of innocence, fun and even reckless abandon, which when vehicles are involved becomes dangerous. As we all settle back into this fall routine, let’s be more mindful as we drive. Slow down, adopt a more defensive driving style and be alert. As adults at this frantic time of year, it’s important we all do our best to keep our children safe!
